The Yacht Shop was founded in 1995 by Scott Dunbar. Scott was trained by the United States Coast Guard and multiple service training centers. The Yacht Shop specializes in the service of Inboard powered boats. Gas and diesel engines, outdrive work, electrical wiring, and plumbing is just some of the work done by Scott.
In the spring of 2012 Scott incorporated the business bringing Jon Matton into the business and forming a DBA of Riverside Marina. Jon and Scott built a 26 slip full service marina and a 12 slip non service marina. Also in 2012 a new repair facility was built with bathrooms and showers for the dock customers.
In the spring of 2021, we changed our name to Riverside Marina, Auto & Marine Repair and we added Anthony Aldridge to the team offering Automotive services for both gas and diesel
engines.
